2013 with a Bang! Art therapy for the Heart

Oh wait, it's already July now. The past months had been a whirlwind!
Though there is actually much to say, I'll let my artworks do the talking first.
During these roller coaster months, (and is still now), I have somewhat explored a different genre of art.
This had been my therapy, a way to release my worst emotions and thoughts.

Probably I'll post the images one-by-one, or in batches.  In the following posts, I'll be sharing my personal life.  Yes, artists have their down moments in life, too. But then, let my art doodles show how I am standing up again.

What May Had Been

And so... what I had been doing last May was quite random.

I attended two seminars about Learning Adobe Illustrator and The Process in Setting up a Website via Phoenix-One Knowledge Institute at Paseo de Roxas.  You can visit their Facebook page here if you are interested in learning Visual Communication, WebDesign and more.

Having a hard time to choose?

Meeting with the clouds

This morning I went to visit a site where two bathroom renovations is called for. 

The house is of a Mediterranean concept.  It was built twelve years ago but if you should see it now, it is very well maintained.  The existing interior design of these bathrooms as I put it into the client’s words has 'just got tiring to look at.'  I couldn't agree more.

Two things I learned from today’s meeting.

Bicol Pili Tarts' Model

For the last months of JP's 2011, his bread and butter came from selling authentic Pili Tarts from Bicol.
He had buyers from neighbours, churchmates and also totally stranger from the on-line market community.
What can I say, the yummy taste explodes in the mouth!

I did some research about the pili nut to make this post a bit informative and here are the results of my query:

The Conception of Arti-DSGN

Well, I have "conceptualized" the "persona" of ARTI long time ago,

but I never thought I would TRY to run a print business under its name.

Just got a budget to buy a printer and scanner from my SPONSORS.

It was given to me so that graphic tee design would be much more

easier for me to conceptualize.

But I know for a fact, that the TEE BUSINESS would just have to

wait because, basically, pocket is empty for that.

So I am thinking of doing something productive with this printer.

And the idea of setting up an online page for customized invitation cards would be fine.

Cannot think of any name so ARTI-DSGN would be it.

The BRAND name for my ARTIness, 

from graphic art to interior design and everything in between.

Finally got my license in being an Interior Designer!


After years of practicing ID as a junior designer, 


I think I finally deserve this one.

Last night, I watched the movie "Frequency". In the movie, the father who lived 30 years ago was able to talk to his son through a communication radio. The frequency that enabled them to communicate ‘magically’ was caused by the appearance of the Northern Lights, popularly known as Auroras or Aurora Borealis.
